This is my 5th acoustic build, this one with a fiorentine cutaway, own made maple bindings and purfings, and some maple celtic inlay work, hope you like it!!

That is how I read the post as well... I thought it was your last... Done... Finito..

She is a beaut! The Florentine cutaway is reminiscent of of the Gibson CF-100 (still my favorite guitar of all times).
Love the Maple bindings and I like the fact you made both bindings and perflings.

Nice clean design.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.
